WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team returns to BIG EAST play this weekend, hosting St. John's University in a four-game, three-day series. Friday's weekend opener is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, consisting of a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning contest, beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday's series finale is also set for 1 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown comes into the game with an 0-4 record after a tough setback to Towson on Tuesday night.
- The Hoyas outhit the Tigers 8-7, led by two hits from freshman Michael Eze.
- Eze was on base three times and also stole a base, while picking up two outfield assists from right field.
- Everett Catlett made his first career start on the mound and fired 2.0 innings, allowing just one unearned run while striking out three.
- The GU pitching staff picked up 12 strikeouts, led by Nolan McCarthy who had four strikeouts in 3.1 innings of relief.
