WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team wrapped up the 2021 campaign with a ninth place finish at the BIG EAST Championship, presented by JEEP on Wednesday. The Hoyas shot rounds of 314, 311 and 299 for a 54-hole total of 924.
 
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS

• Will O'Neill and Chris Doody were Georgetown's top finishers, both shooting 227 to tie for 23rd overall.
• Matt Barnes shot a 234 to tie for 33rd.
• David Rogers finished 35th with a 236 and Tim Rotermund was 38th at 274.

 
WHERE THE TEAM FINISHED

• The Hoyas recorded rounds of 314, 311 and 299 for a 54-hole score of 924.
• UConn won the BIG EAST title with a 5-over par 869, followed by Marquette (875), Seton Hall (882) and Butler (883).
• Villanova (887), DePaul (893), Xavier (895), Creighton (906) and Georgetown rounded out the field.
