Hoyas Finish Seventh at Rolling Green Invitational

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team shot a 295 to finish seventh of 13 teams at the Rolling Green Intercollegiate, hosted by Navy in Springfield, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
 
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS  
WHERE THE TEAM FINISHED
  • The Hoyas finished seventh of 13 teams, just 10 strokes back from the lead.
  • Rhode Island won the event with a 5-over par 285, followed by Bucknell (287), Monmouth (287), Lafayette (293), Villanova (293) and Saint Joseph's (293).
  • Georgetown topped Navy's Blue squad (297), Lehigh (298), LaSalle (301), Colgate (302), Saint Peter's (306) and Navy's Gold grouping (309).
 
OF NOTE
  • O'Neill's sixth-place finish was his first top-10 showing at Georgetown.
  • Doody made his debut for the Hoyas after a strong career on the links at Kent State.

  • Georgetown returns to action at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State, in State College, Pennsylvania on April 17-18.
