WASHINGTON – Georgetown Women's Soccer Head Coach Dave Nolan has announced the team's 2021 schedule, presented by MedStar Health. The schedule consists of 18 games, with 10 home matches at Shaw Field and eight away games. The first eight games of the season will be nonconference matchups followed by 10 BIG EAST regular season games.

The Hoyas kickoff their season against NC State on August 19 and LMU on August 22. GU will then travel to Texas the following week to play UT (Aug. 28) for its first away game of the season. The Blue & Gray will be home for matches against Dartmouth (Sept. 2) and Princeton (Sept. 5) and then head back on the road to West Virginia University (Sept. 9) the next week. Closing out home competitions for nonconference play is a game versus Rutgers on September 12 which proceeds the final game of out of conference play with a game against William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The BIG EAST regular season begins September 23 at Creighton followed by another away game at Xavier (Sept. 26). The Hoyas' home opener for the BIG EAST is on Thursday, September 30, versus De Paul, followed by two more home matches against Providence (Oct. 3) and Butler (Oct. 7). Georgetown will travel to New York to face St. Johns on October 10. The final two away games are at Marquette (Oct. 21) and Seton Hall (Oct. 24) and the last two home games are against Villanova (Oct. 14) and UConn (Oct. 28).

The Hoyas are returning from their run into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament this past spring along with their BIG EAST Championship win over Butler. Georgetown had a 12-0-2 season from last year with a six game unbeaten streak at home.All BIG EAST Conference games will be produced by BEDN as well Georgetown's home game against Rutgers.
