WASHINGTON – The 2022 Georgetown Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception originally scheduled for February 11, 2022, has been postponed until the early months of 2023.

The slate of inductees includes the following seven former student-athletes:

Caitlin McLean (C'01, M'08), Lacrosse
John Willey (B'00), Swimming & Diving
Gharun G. Hester (B'01), Football
Meghan J. Welch (F'00), Swimming & Diving
Brian G. Bissell (B'02), Sailing
Bowen DeN. Holden (C'01, G'06), Lacrosse

The decision to postpone was made in light of the current COVID-19 health concerns on campus and in the greater Washington DC area.  The delay will hopefully make it possible to accommodate a larger size audience of family, friends, coaches, and teammates, together with all the special activities that surround the weekend.
