Georgetown Squash Splits Weekend Action

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team split its final matches of the weekend in preparation for the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference championships. The No. 25 Hoyas topped No. 27 Haverford 8-1 on Saturday before falling 6-3 to No. 23 Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.
 
  • Georgetown moves to 7-7 on the season with the weekend split.
  • In the win over the Fords, Nina Thomas and Caroline Wilcox swept the top two flights while the Hoyas won spots 4-9 on the ladder as well.
  • Sarah Conner, Grace Feagin, Chloe Kim and Catherine Friendly each posted 3-0 sweeps as well while Nina Flinn and Minna Holleck both won 3-1.
  • Against the Cardinals, Wilcox and Feagin both added another 3-0 sweep to their weekends.
  • Thomas picked up the third point for the Hoyas in a thrilling 3-2 win, including a 12-10 final frame for the singles victory.
