WASHINGTON – Georgetown women's soccer had two student-athletes earn BIG EAST awards on Monday afternoon as announced by the conference.
Eliza Turner was named Defensive Player of the Week and
Allie Augur was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Eliza Turner
- The sophomore helped the No. 17/12 Hoyas go 2-0 this past week against Villanova (1-0) on Thursday and Providence (1-0) on Sunday.
- Turner helped to limit the Wildcats and the Friars to 15 collective shots, only eight on goal.
- Against Villanova, Turner tallied three shots in the Blue & Gray win.
- The Maryland native scored the game winner on the road at Providence to continue the Hoyas BIG EAST success.
Allie Augur
- The senior made four saves against Providence securing the 11th-straight shutout for Georgetown.
- This is the second time the goalkeeper has made the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season.
- Augur has played six games for the Hoyas this season.

- Georgetown hosts Marquette this Thursday, October 20 at 2 p.m. on Shaw Field.
