WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University swimming & diving team will welcome NJIT (M) and BIG EAST foe UConn (W) to McCarthy Pool at Yates Field House on Saturday, October 22. Diving events are scheduled for 10 a.m. while the swimming events are slated for 12:30 p.m.

HOYA NOTES
- The men's squad dominated against American, winning 13-of-14 events and sweeping eight podiums (210-87) while the women's side secured a 174.5-122.5 victory.
- Hoya divers on the men's side held all six podium spots as Charlie Reichle, Hriday Parekh and Kyle Maziarz secured top-three scores in the 3m dives while the trio of Maziarz, Tristan Gess and Reichle went 1-2-3 in the 1m dives.
- The women's divers also posted success with Emilie Ginovker, Lizzy Durgin and Wynter Bramao sweeping the 3m dive and Ginovker and Durgin going 1-3 in the 1m dives.
- Freshmen Alex Breuer and Sophia Ribeiro picked up two individual wins apiece against the Eagles, earning victories in 100-yard breast, 200-yard breast, 200-yard free and 500-yard free.
- The Hoyas saw 23 swimmers and divers on the men's side earn podium finishes last weekend.
MEET NOTES
- Last season, the men dominated NJIT with an emphatic 222-78 victory, taking 14-of-16 events.
- The women's team will look to rebound after a tough loss to the Huskies in 2021.
- Saturday's meet will mark the second-straight season the Hoyas have faced both NJIT and UConn in the same weekend.
