WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming & diving teams split its meet with NJIT (M) and UConn (W) at McCarthy Pool on Saturday afternoon. The men's team downed the Highlanders 200-94 while the women fell just short to its BIG EAST foe 158-142.

The men's side had another really great week and despite not getting the win on the women's side, we are very proud of the way they battled against a fellow BIG EAST opponent in UConn. MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Hoya divers swept all six podium spots for the second-consecutive week as Hriday Parekh, Kyle Maziarz and Charlie Reichle posted scores of 269.10, 266.18 and 253.80 in the 1m dives, respectively. Maziarz, Tristan Gess and Reichle went 1-2-3 in the 3m dives with marks of 283.28, 274.58 and 271.20.
• The team of John McEachern, Bailey De Luise, Michael Baldini and Connor Brennan picked up the win in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:32.49 while teammates Liam Ryan, Ansen Meyer, Nate Lamers and Sean Percin finished in third at 1:34.56.
• The Hoyas swept the 1,000 free with Jack Januario (9:43.00), Conor Jellig (9:47.42) and Andrew Babyak (9:58.73) crossing in order as did Tomo Nozaki (1:43.70), Jack Brearton (1:43.97) and Will Connolly (1:44.11) in the 200 free.
• Baldini, Brennan and De Luise finished 0.09 seconds apart to sweep the board in the 50 free with times of 21.52, 21.59 and 21.61, respectively.
• De Luise, Stephen Kim and Meyer went 1-2-3 in the 200 breast with times of 2:08.00, 2:08.34 and 2:10.66 as did Nozaki (50.71), Baldini (51.27) and Lamers (51.91) in the 100 fly.
• McEachern and Ryan finished 0.28 seconds apart in the 100 back, finishing 1-2 with times of 52.14 and 52.38 as did Nicholas Pezzella (57.50) and Meyer (57.95) in the 100 breast.
• Percin and Brennan also went 1-2 in the 100 free with times of 47.32 and 47.68, joining the 1-2 pairing of Ryan (1:52.72) and Jellig (1:53.80) in the 200 back.
• Matt Gibson and Will Barao went 2-3 in the 200 fly, finishing 0.30 seconds apart while Connolly and Babyak did the same in the 500 free. 

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Sophia Ribeiro, Ines Lovato, Allie Sanchez and Erin Hood won the 400-yard relay with a time of 3:33.67.
• Riberio and Samantha Hagberg posted top-two finishes in the 200-yard free with a 1:54.89 and 1:55.73.
• Hood and Alex Breuer went 1-2 in both the 100 breast with times of 1:05.32 and 1:05.44 as well as the 200 IM with marks of 2:05.23 and 2:06.98.
• Breuer and Hood flipped in the 200 breast with respective marks of 2:17.74 and 2:19.71.
• Lovato beat out three UConn swimmers with a 24.50 in the 50 free.
• Angelica Reali and Hagberg went 1-3 in the 200 fly with times of 2:04.51 and 2:09.28. Reali went on to add a win in the 100 fly with a time of 56.72.
• Sanchez, Breuer, Reali and Lovato earned a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:45.87.
• Corey Moon and Ashley Vensel went 2-3 in the 1,000 free while Moon and Ribeiro did the same in the 500 free.
• Sanchez, Ribeiro and Reali also picked up third-place finishes in the 100 back, 100 free and 200 back, respectively.
• Wynter Bramao added a pair of third-place marks in both the 1m and 3m dives.
