WASHINGTON – After a successful four-day swing in Geneva, Ohio at the BIG EAST Championships, presented by Jeep, 18 Hoyas earned All-BIG EAST team honors for their accomplishments, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. GU's men's team led the conference with 13 honorees while the women earned five.
The 18 Hoyas rounded out a group of 84 conference athletes to place top three in any individual or relay event at the championship. Fifty-one total student athletes, 25 women and 26 men, earned all-conference accolades in multiple events.
Owen Watkins led the GU men with four honors while
Angelica Reali and
Genevieve Youngman led the women with two each.
