Men’s Tennis Closes Out the Fall Season with a Successful Showing at the Service Academy Challenge

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team wrapped up the fall season with an undefeated record in the doubles flights at the Service Academy Challenge over the weekend. The invitational featured teams from Army West Point, Air Force and Coast Guard.
 
 
Men's Results:
  • Georgetown went undefeated in the doubles flights after winning all three matches against Coast Guard. Senior Kieren Foster and freshman Zamaan Moledina beat Sean Dreher and Myles Decoste 8-3 while sophomore Jake Fellows and freshman Arthur O'Sulivan won 8-3 over Banks Evans and Charles Norman. Senior Harry Yang and sophomore Adhvyte Sharma beat Logan De Los Santos and James Vuille-Kowing 8-3.
  • Foster, Fellows and O'Sullivan all won both of their singles matches.
  • Foster defeated Nick Vroman (6-4, 3-6, [10-7]) from Air Force and AJ Woodman (6-2, 7-5) from Army.
  • Fellows beat Thomas Lake (6-1, 6-2) from Army and Arjun Kersten (6-4,7-5) from Air Force.
  • O'Sullivan captured wins over Jonny Mascagni (7-6[2], 1-6, [10-8]) from Air Force and Samuel Eden (7-5, 7-6[9]) from Army.
  • Junior Derek Raskopf and Moledina both won their lone singles match against Army. Raskopf won 6-2, 3-6 (10-5) over Nathan Jose while Moledina won 6-3, 7-6 (4) over Jake Huarte.
  • Yang, Sharma and sophomore Burke Pablo each fell in their respective singles matches.
