WASHINGTON – The No. 19/11 Georgetown women's soccer team is back in the District this week for a match against Xavier University on Thursday. The BIG EAST matchup is set for a 3 p.m. start on Shaw Field. The Hoyas sit at 8-1-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play as the Musketeers are 10-2-1 overall, 4-0 in the BIG EAST.

- Georgetown secured its seventh-straight win on Sunday over DePaul when it won 1-0 with a late goal by senior Julia Leas.
- Leas' efforts from the match against the Blue Demons and Thursday's game against the UConn Huskies earned her the title of BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
- Goalkeeper Allie Augur earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after making four big saves, helping GU clinch the 1-0 shutout over the Huskies.
