WASHINGTON – The No. 18/10 Georgetown women's soccer team was named as a fifth seed in the 2022 Division I NCAA Tournament on Monday afternoon in the 2022 NCAA Selection Show. The Hoyas won the BIG EAST Championship on Sunday afternoon over Xavier 1-0 and earned an automatic berth into the tournament. The Blue & Gray will host Hofstra on Saturday, November 12 at 1 p.m. on Shaw Field. This is the 11th-consecutive time Georgetown has made it into the NCAA Tournament, and 13th-overall appearance in program history.
