WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team (6-20, 0-15 BIG EAST) returns to Washington, D.C., to take on the DePaul Blue Demons (12-14, 3-13 BIG EAST) at Capital One Arena on Thursday, February 24. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas are coming off a 74-66 loss to the then-No. 10/10 Villanova Wildcats. Donald Carey led the Hoyas with a career-high 24 points, sinking 9-of-13 shots from the floor and 5-of-9 from beyond the arc while adding four assists and a pair of steals. Carey also logged his 15th-straight game in double figures while recording his fifth 20-point contest of the season.
- Dante Harris was the only other Hoya to reach double figures, scoring 16 points in the matchup. Harris dished out four helpers and pulled down three rebounds against the Wildcats. Aminu Mohammed led the Blue & Gray on the glass with eight boards.
- Georgetown shot 42.9% from the floor (24-56) to go along with eight made treys while allowing 43.6% (24-55) shooting from the 'Cats.
- The Blue & Gray has four players averaging double figures: Carey (14 ppg), Mohammed (13.8 ppg), Kaiden Rice (12 ppg) and Harris (11.9 ppg).

ABOUT THE BLUE DEMONS
- The Blue Demons have lost their last four contests, falling at then-No. 11/11 Providence, at home to Butler and Creighton before a road loss at Seton Hall.
- Javon Freeman-Liberty leads DePaul with 20.6 ppg in 19 contests, shooting 36.9% from distance (38-103) and pulling down a team-high 7.4 rpg. David Jones averages 14.2 ppg and 7.3 rpg, and has posted the conference's sole triple-double this year.
- DePaul ranks third in the conference in total rebounds per game, grabbing 38.7 as a team. The Blue Demons are 1-7 in conference road games during the 2021-22 season.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
