Nolan McCarthy captured his first career BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week award, as announced by the conference on Monday.

- McCarthy dominated the Spartans through his six scoreless innings of work on Saturday.
- While holding the opposition to just two hits on the afternoon, the righty struck out nine batters, matching his career high in a Hoya uniform.
- McCarthy picked up the team's first major weekly award and third conference honor of the season after Andrew Ciufo and Angelo Tonas earned honor roll selection following opening weekend.
- He is also the first since Tonas in 2021 to earn the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week award.
