WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team (6-15, 0-10 BIG EAST) will head to Chicago to take on the DePaul University Blue Demons (11-10, 2-9 BIG EAST) at Wintrust Arena on Wednesday, February 9. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Aminu Mohammed scored a team-best 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor to go along with four boards, three steals and a pair of assists. Donald Carey added 11 points, including an 8-of-8 showing from the line, while recording three rebounds and three helpers.
- The Hoyas forced 20 Friar turnovers, one shy of a season high (21) set against Howard (12/15). Georgetown also registered double-digit steals in a game for the fourth time this season with 11.
- The Blue & Gray has four players averaging in double figures: Carey (13.6 ppg), Mohammed (13.6 ppg), Kaiden Rice (12.5 ppg) and Dante Harris (11.5 ppg).
- As a team, GU ranks second in the BE shooting 36.1 percent from distance while its 8.0 triples/game rank third.

- DePaul is coming off a 69-65 upset over then-No. 21/23 Xavier on the road to snap a four-game losing streak.
- Javon Freeman-Liberty leads the team with 21.1 ppg while David Jones (14.2 ppg) and Brandon Johnson (10.7) round out those in double digits. The trio are all averaging more than seven boards/game.
- The Blue Demons are outscoring their opponents by a margin of 2.5 ppg (72.6-70.1) while shooting 43.2 percent from the field.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Wednesday will be the 45th all-time meeting between GU and DePaul with the Hoyas holding a 33-11 edge overall.
