No. 3 Hoyas Defeat Mount St. Mary’s 21-4

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's third-ranked men's lacrosse team picked up a midweek victory with a 21-4 win over visiting Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday afternoon. Thirteen different Hoyas found the back of the cage en route to tie the 12th largest winning score differential in program history.

  • The Mount evens its record to 3-3 on the year with the loss.
  • Four different Mountaineers were responsible for a goal apiece.
  • Connor Beals went .500 from the X, winning 7 of 14 faceoffs.
  • Gunnar Luckoski had six saves in relief between the pipes.
Of Note
  • Georgetown improves to 22-17 all-time against Mount St. Mary's.
  • All 45 Hoyas that dressed saw game action.
  • Carroll, Gentile and Meaux each scored their first career goals. Sopko picked up his first goal as a Hoya after scoring 92 in his four-year career at Bucknell.
