Men's Tennis Hosts Boston University, Travels to Penn in Weekend Matches

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team is set to host Boston University (1-12) on Saturday, March 26 at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in a match at 11 a.m. The Hoyas (5-9) will then head to Philadelphia to face the University of Pennsylvania (12-4) on Sunday, March 27, at the Hamlin Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
About the Matchups
  • The Hoyas split their matches in Youngstown last weekend, defeating Youngstown State 5-2 on Friday before dropping a close 4-3 battle to Butler in Georgetown's third BIG EAST match of the season.
  • Boston University picked up its first win of the season last weekend after taking down Sacred Heart University. The Terriers had dropped 12 matches to begin spring play prior to the victory.
  • Penn is undefeated at home this season, posting a 6-0 record in Philadelphia. The Quakers have won three straight and face Georgetown for their final non-Ivy League match of the year.
