WASHINGTON – The Georgetown men's rowing team opened the spring season up in Washington, D.C. and Princeton, New Jersey.

The lightweight crew faced Princeton University in the Fosburgh Cup held on the Potomac River on Saturday, March 26. The Hoyas fell to the Tigers in all three races, dropping the last five Fosburgh Cup's to the Tigers.

The heavyweight crew also competed on Saturday, March 26 against the host Princeton, Drexel and Temple on the road at Princeton.

Both squads will be in competition on Saturday, April 2. The lightweight crew is slated to compete in the Columbia LW Invite in Overpeck Park, N.J. hosted by The University of Delaware.  

The heavyweight crew will stay home to host George Washington University on the Potomac.
