WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team (6-23, 0-18 BIG EAST) heads to Cincinnati, Ohio, to face the Xavier Musketeers (17-12, 7-11 BIG EAST) at the Cintas Center on Saturday, March 5. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas are coming off a 73-68 setback against Seton Hall on Wednesday. Kaiden Rice led four Hoyas in double figures with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor(5-8 3FG). With his five 3-pointers, Rice (89) surpassed Allen Iverson (87) for most made 3-pointers in a single season.
- Collin Holloway registered 16 points, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the line while Dante Harris scored 12 on 6-of-10 shooting with six assists. Donald Carey recorded his 18th-consecutive game scoring in double figures with 11 points and eight boards.
- GU forced 10 Pirate turnovers and matched Seton Hall with 13 points off those forced mistakes. The Hoyas held the Pirates to 20% from distance (4-20).
- The Blue & Gray has four players averaging double figures: Carey (13.9 ppg), Aminu Mohammed (13.8 ppg), Harris (12 ppg) and Kaiden Rice (11.3 ppg).
- Over his span of 18-straight games in double figures, Carey is averaging 14.7 ppg, 43.7% shooting (85-191) and 40% from distance (46-118).
- In conference play, Carey is averaging 14.7 ppg, followed by Mohammed (13.2 ppg) and Harris (11.6 ppg).
ABOUT THE MUSKETEERS
- Xavier has dropped its last five games, including two losses at home to St. John's and Seton Hall. The Musketeers also lost road games to then-No. 24 UConn, then-No. 11 Providence in triple overtime and St. John's.
- Jack Nunge leads a quartet of Musketeers in double-digit scoring with 13 ppg on 51.6% shooting (126-244) while grabbing 7.4 rpg. Colby Jones leads Xavier in rebounds per game with 7.6 and adds 10.8 ppg.
- Xavier has spent the most time at the charity stripe this season, leading the BIG EAST with 602 free throw attempts.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Saturday marks the 23rd all-time meeting between GU and Xavier, with the Musketeers holding a 16-6 advantage in the overall series.
