  • The Hoyas scored four unanswered goals to start the second quarter before Denver scored with 1:52 remaining in the half to cut Georgetown's 5-0 run – and a 18:59 scoreless drought – to salvage a 7-5 Hoya lead going into halftime.
  • Coming out of the break, the Blue & Gray outscored Denver 6-1 in the third and didn't allow a Pioneer goal until the 4:11 mark to make it 13-6 after three.
  • In the fourth, Denver couldn't manage to do any more than match Georgetown goal-for-goal en route to a 17-9 Hoya victory.
