WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming & diving team put forth a solid performance in its season opener at the Potomac Relays on Friday afternoon, medaling in 17 of 18 events and picking up four wins with nine second-place marks.
Â
"I thought we raced well all afternoon with a lot of positive takeaways, but there's still a long way to go. The most important thing was getting back in the pool and facing really good competition. It had been a long time since our last meet and it felt good to get our team back in the water." Head Coach
Jack Leavitt said following Friday's meet
