WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team splits its multi-site action over the weekend, defeating No. 18 Franklin & Marshall 5-4 on the road while falling at home 9-0 to third-ranked Drexel and 5-4 to No. 13 William Smith.

- Georgetown moves to 8-6 on the season.
- The Hoyas dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 3 Drexel in their home opener to kick off the weekend on Friday night.
- Following a quick turnaround, the Blue & Gray dominated the bottom of the ladder to claim a 5-4 victory against F&M in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Caroline Wilcox and Sarah Conner posted 3-2 wins, Vedika Arunachalam won 3-1 and both Aalia Husain and Nina Flinn swept their opponents 3-0 to seal the victory.
- Closing out the weekend, the Hoyas battled hard to the very end in a 5-4 loss to visiting William Smith. Georgetown earned wins from Wilcox, Arunachalam, Husain and Flinn in the setback.

The Hoyas return to action next weekend on the road at Dickinson on Friday before welcoming St. Lawrence and Virginia to Squash On Fire in the District on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
