WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team looks to build on its solid start to the 2022-23 season as it opens the 2023 calendar year with a trio of matches in Annapolis, Maryland this weekend. The No. 19 Hoyas will take on No. 17 Middlebury on Friday, No. 15 Williams on Saturday and No. 14 Amherst on Sunday.

Hoya Notes
Scouting Middlebury
- The No. 17 Panthers go up against the Hoyas on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
- Middlebury went 3-1 in the fall with wins over Hamilton, Vassar and Wesleyan. Its lone loss came against then-No. 14 William Smith.
- Lindsey Burnham and Margaux Comai are both 4-0 for the Panthers on the year.
Scouting Williams
- The Ephs are ranked No. 15 in the CSA poll and face the Hoyas on Saturday at noon.
- Williams is 1-5 on the season with all five losses coming against top-15 foes in Cornell, William Smith, Yale, Virginia and Columbia. Its lone victory came against then-No. 24 Hamilton in the season opener. The Ephs play at Franklin & Marshall on Friday before taking on Georgetown.
- Isabel Kelly leads Williams with three victories while Mira Kamat, Roshni Pal and Nikita Srivastava each boast a pair of wins.
Scouting Amherst
- The Mammoths are ranked No. 14 in the CSA poll and face the Blue & Gray on Sunday at 11 a.m.
- Amherst is 1-2 on the year following a win at Hamilton and losses to William Smith and Trinity in the fall.
- Prior to the showdown with the Hoyas, Amherst plays at Dickinson and at Franklin & Marshall over the weekend.
- Alex Brown, Callie Delalio and Isabelle Tilney-Sandburg all have two wins for the Mammoths on the year.
Next Time Out
Following the weekend action in Annapolis, the Hoyas welcome Drexel to Squash on Fire in the District for their home opener on Friday, January 13 at 7 p.m.
