LYNCHBURG, Va. - Georgetown men's tennis completed competition at the ITA Regionals, hosted by Liberty University. 

Head Coach Freddy Mesmer on the team's weekend:

"The men's team had a phenomenal performance at the ITA regionals. Our guys battled hard and found a way to compete throughout the entire week. Zamaan Moledina, Jake Fellows, Arthur O'Sullivan all won their first two matches to make the final round of qualifying beating players from Virginia Tech, Penn state, Richmond, William & Mary and Temple. 

Zamaan Moledina was able to win all three of his qualifying matches and make it into the prestigious main draw! Zamaan was cruising through his first round match against Bondaz of VCU when he was forced to retire due to injury. If it was not for the injury, Zamaan would have been poised to make a deep run in the event. 

I am very proud of the energy our team brought, the willingness to support one another and the desire to compete until the very last ball."
