WASHINGTON – The No. 12/16 Georgetown University women's soccer team is set to play the Xavier Musketeers on Thursday, October 5. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. in Cincinnati at Cocoran Field. Georgetown enters the contest with a 7-1-4 (3-0-1 BIG EAST) record after downing DePaul Sunday afternoon.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown downed DePaul (1-0) on Sunday with a goal by senior Tatum Lenain in the 73rd minute, lifting the Blue and Gray to its third conference win of the season.
- Allie Augur earned her seventh shutout of the season against DePaul which moved her into sixth place in the country in shutouts. Augur trails the national leader by one.
- Augur was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season on Monday.
- Natalie Means and Allie Winstanley pace the GU offense with six points each this season. Both Means and Winstanley lead the team in goals with three apiece.
ABOUT XAVIER
- Xavier is currently 9-2-2 and 2-0-2 in BIG EAST action after a drawing Seton Hall 1-1 on Sunday.
- Samantha Wiehe paces the Musketeer offense with five goals and three assists on the season for a team-high, 13 points.
- Maria Galley has logged over 1,100 minutes in goal for Xavier and boasts a 0.62 goals against average. Galley also has six shutouts on the season thus far.
