No. 12/16 Georgetown Faces Seton Hall

WASHINGTON – The No. 12/16 Georgetown University women's soccer team is set to face Seton Hall in a BIG EAST matchup on Sunday, October 8. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. in South Orange, New Jersey at Owen T. Carroll Field. Georgetown enters the contest with a 7-1-5 (3-0-2 BIG EAST) record after drawing Xavier Thursday evening.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
  • Georgetown drew Xavier 0-0 on Thursday evening in a defensive battle between the two sides.
  • Allie Augur was sensational for the Hoyas against Xavier tallying five saves en route to her eighth shutout of the season. Augur is now tied for most shutouts in the country and is second in the country in save percentage.
  • Augur was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season on Monday.
  • Natalie Means and Allie Winstanley pace the GU offense with six points each this season. Both Means and Winstanley lead the team in goals with three apiece.
  • Head Coach Dave Nolan will return to his alma mater this weekend as he graduated from Seton Hall in 1991 and played soccer there for four seasons.
