WASHINGTON – The three seeded Georgetown University women's soccer team is set to host Old Dominion in the first round of the NCAA Championships on Saturday, November 11. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. at Shaw Field on the campus of Georgetown University. GU is coming off its fourth-consecutive BIG EAST Title as the Hoyas downed Xavier 2-0 on Sunday in the final. Georgetown is making its 12th consecutive NCAA Championships appearance and the 14th in program history.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown earned the BIG EAST's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships and earned a three-seed with a record of 12-1-7.
- In the BIG EAST Finals, Allie Winstanley and Maja Lardner scored the two Hoya goals securing the Hoyas' fourth-consecutive title and seventh in eight years.
- Allie Augur recorded her 12th shutout of the season against Xavier. Augur leads the nation in goals-against average (.353), she is second in save percentage (.900) and is tied for third in shutouts (12).
- Six Hoyas earned BIG EAST Postseason Honors as Julia Leas was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive season.
- Leas, Augur, Eliza Turner and Natalie Means all earned a nod to the first team. Brianne Riley was tabbed as a second team selection and Winstanley was a third team honoree.
- Leas set a program record for most appearances in a Hoya uniform with 98 on Sunday. Leas passed Kelly Ann Livingstone who had 97 career appearances from 2017-21.
ABOUT OLD DOMINION
- ODU enters Saturday's contest with a 13-2-5 record after downing James Madison in the Sun Belt Championships 2-1 in double overtime.
- Ece Turkoglu leads the ODU offense with six goals and an assist this season. Megan Watts is second on the team with five goals to her credit.
- Emily Bredek has logged nearly 1,800 minutes between the pipes for ODU and boasts a 0.45 goals-against average.
