WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball program (12-12, 3-9) will head to the Midwest to play Xavier (14-9, 7-5) and Butler (10-13, 4-8) in BIG EAST action. The Hoyas will face the Musketeers Friday at 6 p.m. ET and the Bulldogs Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
The Hoyas sit just 2.5 games behind sixth place DePaul for the last spot in the BIG EAST tournament as the conference enters its third to final weekend of play.

About the Hoyas:
- Georgetown has played host to both Butler and Xavier earlier this season: defeating Butler 3-1 and falling to Xavier 3-2.
- Across those two matches on September 28th and 29th respectively, the Hoyas were led by Peyton Wilhite who had 35 kills and six blocks across nine sets.
- Freshman Kamryn Lee-Caracci has been an influence for the Hoyas on both ends, ranking third in the conference with a .335 hitting percentage and leading the Hoyas with 0.93 blocks per set.
- Junior Karis Park has been a rock for the Hoyas this season, being one of four players to appear in all 90 sets (alongside Wilhite, Emily Wen, and Mary Grace Goyena). The libero is fifth in the BIG EAST with 3.98 digs per set.
Scouting Xavier:
- Xavier sits fourth in the BIG EAST after falling 3-0 to St. John's and defeating Seton Hall 3-1 this past weekend.
- Delaney Hogan earned BIG EAST Honor Roll last week, headlined by 13 kills on a .435 hitting percentage in the Musketeers' win over Seton Hall. She leads Xavier with 3.04 points per set on the season.
- Senior Stevie Wolfe ranks fourth in the conference with 4.02 digs per set.
- Setter Carrigan O'Reilly leads the team with 8.49 assists per set.
Scouting Butler
- Butler dropped both matches last weekend, falling 3-2 to both Seton Hall and St. John's on the road.
- The Bulldogs rank fourth in kills per set with 12.81. Abby Maesch and Mariah Grunze headline the offense, ranking sixth and eighth in the BIG EAST respectively.
- Cora Taylor sits atop the BIG EAST with 10.23 assist per set.
