WASHINGTON – Freshmen diver Nico Santiago captured BIG EAST Men's Athlete of the Week following a stellar weekend against Fordham as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

• Santiago picked up his first career BIG EAST weekly accolade. 
• The freshmen diver picked up two wins in the 1m and 3m against the Rams. 
• Santiago also broke a McCarthy Pool record in the 1m dive with a score of 328.88.
