WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team will be at split site events this weekend. GU will compete in the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University while also competing in the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty University.

ABOUT THE GEORGETOWN WOMEN
- In November, the Georgetown women's distance program placed 10th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma where Maggie Donahue and Grace Jensen both earned All-America honors.
- In the team's last outing, Andrea Claeson finished sixth in the mile with a time of 4:36.51 which is seventh fastest in school history and 20th fastest in the NCAA currently. Claeson earned BIG EAST Women's Track Athlete of the week for her performance at the Terrier Classic.
- Eni Akinniyi finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.55m.
- Maya Drayton grabbed a second palce finish in the 400m event with a time of 55.62.

ABOUT THE GEORGETOWN MEN
- Earlier this season, Matthew Payamps broke a school record in the 1000m event with a time of 2:20.41 which broke James DeRienzo's 44-year-old record of 2:20.69.
- In the team's last outing, four Hoyas ran sub four-minute miles with Matt Rizzo leading the way with a time of 3:56.20. GU teammates Abel Teffra (3:57.76), Camden Gilmore (3:58.45) and Lucas Guerra (3:58.94) joined Rizzo in running sub four-minute miles for the Hoyas.
- Parker Stokes finished second in the 1000m event with a time of 2:23.35. Owen Johnson (2:24.40) and Mateo Althouse (2:24.59) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
- Joshua Paige won the 200m event with a blazing time of 21.28 and Hoya teammate Kadari Mitchell finished fifth with a time of 21.89.
