WASHINGTON - After a successful four-day swing on Long Island at the BIG EAST Championships, presented by Jeep, 24 Hoyas earned All-BIG EAST team honors for their accomplishments last week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The 24 Hoyas rounded out a group of 94 conference athletes to place top three in any individual or relay event at the championship. Fifty women and 44 men complete the list of honorees. A total of 50 student-athletes (27 women, 23 men) earned all-conference for multiple events.
Among those was Georgetown's
Michael Baldini, who led the pack with five All-BIG EAST honors along with
John McEachern and
Erin Hood with four apiece.
