WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams will be back in action this weekend. The women's team will welcome conference rivals Seton Hall and St. John's to the District while the men's team will travel to Queens to face St. John's before heading to Newark to take on NJIT.
The women will face Seton Hall on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Yates and St. John's on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Sidwell Friends School. The men will square off with St. John's on Friday at 12:30 p.m. and NJIT on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Women's Matches
About the Hoyas
- The Hoyas are coming off a 4-2 loss to DePaul at home last weekend. Freshmen Ashley Kennedy and Paige Gilbert posted two singles wins for GU.
- The Blue & Gray are 4-1 when playing at home this season and are currently 1-2 in BIG EAST play.
