Box Score 3 WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team fell to conference rival St. John's 5-2 before picking up a 4-3 victory at NJIT. The women's team earned a BIG EAST win after Seton Hall forfeited the match. On Sunday, the women fell to St. Johns 4-3. The men's team is now 8-6 overall and 2-2 in BIG EAST play while the women are 9-6 overall in 2-3 in conference action.
Men's Team vs. St. John's (2-5)
The Hoyas started the match with a one-point deficit after losing the doubles point.
Jake Fellows battled with Sergio Molina in three sets but ultimately fell 6-3 in the final set.
Zamaan Moledina earned a two-set win for the Hoyas while
Adhvyte Sharma battled back from a 6-4 first-set loss to win another point for GU. The Red Storm won four singles matches to earn the 5-2 match victory.
