WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team wrapped up play at the two-day, three-round Rutherford Intercollegiate, finishing in third place with a 54-hole score of 853. The Hoyas carded rounds of 283, 284 and 286 at the par-71, 7,171-yard course at Penn State. This is the first top-five finish of the season for the Hoyas and the first time two Hoyas finished in the top 10.

- Senior captain David Rogers finished tied for 28th after carding rounds of 75, 69 and 75.
- Senior captain Pieter DeGroot finished tied for fourth after carding rounds of 69, 69 and 71. This was DeGroot's first top-five finish of the season.
- Max Hutter finished tied for 15th turning in cards of 70, 74 and 72.
- Charlie Creamean finished tied for sixth with rounds of 69, 72 and 70. This was Creamean's first top-10 finish of the season.
- Jacob Finard finished tied for 60th with rounds of 78, 75, 73.
- Ryan Moylan finished tied for 28th as an individual turning in cards of 74, 74 and 71.
Tournament Leaders
- Penn State won the tournament with an overall team score of 849 which was good for three-under par.
- Valparaiso finished in second, with a team score of 850 just one shot behind Penn State and Georgetown finished three strokes behind Valpo.

The Blue & Gray will be back in action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 28-30 at the BIG EAST Championships. The event will be held in Hardeeville, South Carolina at Riverton Pointe Country Club and Golf Course.
