WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams fell to Temple University while also earning a BIG EAST battle against Villanova over the weekend. The women's team fell 5-2 to the Owls before earning a 6-1 victory over the Wildcats. The men dropped 7-0 to Temple before capturing a 5-2 conference victory over Villanova. 

Women vs. Temple (L,5-2)
The Hoyas fell 1-0 after dropping the doubles point. Chloe Bendetti and McHaley Ho earned GU's lone doubles win 6-4 over the eighth- anked doubles pair of Maiko Uchijima and Jamie Wei.

The Hoyas jumped out to a 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point. The Hoyas went on to clinch the conference victory with five singles wins. Morgan Coburn fell to Caitlin Fisher after forfeiting the match due to an injury.
