WASHINGTON – The Georgetown track & field program split sites this weekend with a group of sprinters and jumpers heading to the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida while a group of the men's track & field team headed to Williamsburg, Virginia to compete in the Colonial Relays, hosted by William & Mary.
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
- In Williamsburg, Theo Woods led a trio of Hoyas among the top 10 of the men's 800-meter invitational. Woods took the win with a time of 1:51.30, followed by Camden Gilmore (1:51.94) in second and Parker Stokes (1:53.38) in seventh.
- At the Florida Relays. Eni Akinniyi finished seventh in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.45m.
- Nicholas Givan improved on his 400-meter hurdles time with a 53.23 to finish 12th overall and third in his heat.
- In his signature event, Joshua Paige clocked 21.00 in the men's 200-meter dash to finish 16th overall in his first 200m of the season. In the 100-meter dash, Paige timed in with a season-best 10.60.

The Hoyas will split sites again next weekend with a contingent going south to the Duke Invitational April 6-8 and another group staying local in Fairfax, Virginia to compete at the George Mason Invitational.
