WASHINGTON – Georgetown University softball is back in action on Wednesday, April 26 with a midweek contest against George Mason in Fairfax, Virginia. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. at the George Mason Softball Complex.

• The Hoyas (15-27, 8-10 BIG EAST) are coming off of a win against St. John's, 6-4, in their final game of the BIG EAST series this past weekend after dropping games one and two to the Red Storm.
• Mae Forshey leads the Hoyas at the plate batting .299 with 40 hits, eight doubles, one triple and five home runs this season.
• Cameron Kondo touts a .325 average with 38 hits this season, leading the Hoyas with 13 home runs.
• Kayla Dunn has been solid for the Blue & Gray with 68 strikeouts over 18 appearances, taking the Hoyas' most recent win from the circle.
• Brooke Plonka leads the Hoya pitchers with 113 strikeouts over 27 appearances and a 4.46 ERA.

 
About the Patriots

• George Mason is 28-17 overall and 14-6 in conference play.
• Haley Taormina leads the Patriots at the plate with 48 hits over her 45 starts this year and is batting .350. The senior has 17 doubles, one triple and six home runs for 39 RBIs.
• Nicole Bechtel has been solid batting for the Patriots with 43 hits, 11 doubles, two triples and three home runs for an average of .368.
• Aly Rayle has 13 wins to her name from the circle and boasts a 2.42 ERA with 170 strikeouts over 27 appearances this season.
