WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams picked up conference wins on Sunday afternoon. The men's team earned a  5-2 win over DePaul at home while the women battled UConn in a 4-3 victory. The men are now 3-2 in BIG EAST action while the women are now 4-3.

The Blue & Gray came back to win the match after losing the doubles point. Zamaan Molendina battled it out for the singles victory over Pablo Torres Almeida after dropping his first set. Jake Fellows picked up a decisive singles victory, winning 6-2 in two sets.

The Hoyas jumped out to a one-point lead after winning the doubles point. Avantika Willy came back to win her second set 6-1 but fell 6-2 in the final set to Maria Constantino. Agata Mikos battled back to lock down GU's third-seeded singles win after dropping the first. Paige Gilbert earned her sixth straight singles win over Denise Lai. Morgan Coburn clinched the victory for the Hoyas with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Caroline Cook.
