WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team posted a team score of 297 in the final round of the 2023 BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP which earned the Hoyas a fourth-place finish. Senior captain
Pieter DeGroot was fantastic for GU finishing in third place overall with a three-round score of 214 (-2).

- DeGroot was superb for the Blue & Gray, carding two rounds under par. DeGroot finished the championships at two-under par recording two birdies and an eagle in his final round. DeGroot turned in cards of 71, 70 and 73.
- Charlie Creamean carded a 71 in his final round of play, sinking three birdies and an eagle to finish the day one-under par. Creamean posted a three-round score of 223 with cards of 74, 78 and 71 which was tied for 19th overall.
- Max Hutter finished the week with cards of 78, 74, 77 for a three-round score of 229. Hutter finished tied for 36th.
- David Rogers finished tied for 41st turning in cards of 75, 81, 76. Rogers posted a 232 across the three-rounds.
- Jacob Finard had a three-round score of 226, good for 30th overall. Finard turned in cards of 75, 72 and 79.

Tournament Leaders
- Marquette won the BIG EAST Championships with a three-round score of 873. St. John's finished in second with a team score of 876.
- Bhoom Sima-Aree from Marquette and Jack Simon from St. John's both finished with a three-round score of 213, one stroke better than DeGroot. Â
