WASHINGTON – Georgetown senior Jake Bloss was tabbed as the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday for the fourth time this season. Bloss was superb in game two against St. John's on Saturday for the Blue & Gray taking a no-hitter bid into the seventh frame.

• The Greensboro, North Carolina native was stout for GU picking up his sixth win of the season defeating St. John's 6-2.
• Bloss held the Red Storm to one hit in seven innings of work and took the no-hitter bid into the seventh frame for the second time this season.
• The senior struck out a season-high 12 batters touching 98 mph throughout the game and held his opponents to a .048 batting average.
