Hoyas Compete at Eastern Sprints

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's rowing squads traveled to Worcester, Massachusetts for the Eastern Sprints on Sunday. The heavyweight squad had its best finish in program history as the teams both prepare for the IRA National Championship.

Up Next

The teams have both declared for the IRA National Championship June 2-4 at Mercer Lake in New Jersey.
Georgetown has done seven initial declarations including the Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+, 3rd Varsity 8+, LW Varsity 8+, 2nd LW Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+ and LW Varsity 4+ boats.
Initial declarations are preliminary in nature and will change before final selections for the regatta. Final selections will be announced the week of May 15.
The heavyweight eight events are limited to 24 entries.
