Hoya Women Finish 18th in USTFCCCA Program of the Year Standings

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's track & field / cross country program finishes the year at 18th in the USTFCCCA Terry Crawford Program of the Year final standings. The Hoyas are one of just 19 teams to even qualify for consideration for the program of the year and the only BIG EAST institution.

HOW THEY DID IT
  • The Hoya women have tallied 112 points to rank 18th in the country in the final standings for the Terry Crawford Program of the Year.
  • Only 19 institutions were eligible for the honor as programs must qualify as a team in the NCAA Cross Country Championships, NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships and the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (finals site) and score points at each meet.
  • The Blue & Gray are the lone BIG EAST program represented in the standings.
  • The points are fueled by 10 points from the cross country championships, 35.5 points from the indoor championships and 63 from the outdoor season based on team finishes.
