WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team has released its 2023-24 schedule, presented by MedStar Health, as announced by Head Coach Tim Lasusa on Wednesday. The Hoyas are coming off a 16-win campaign in 2022-23, setting a program record for victories in a season, and finished as the Walker Division runner-up at the College Squash Association National Championships.
"We are extremely excited for the season to come," said Lasusa. "We have our sights set on continuing our rise in the ranks and will be looking to go head to head with several of the top teams in the country."
- The Hoyas open the season by taking on Virginia in Charlottesville on November 4 before heading up to Philadelphia to face Penn and Bates on November 18 and 19, respectively.
- A home match against Wesleyan at Squash on Fire on December 1 precedes the fall finale against Dartmouth on December 2 in Charlottesville.
- The Hoyas open the New Year on the road against Middlebury, Williams and Amherst the weekend of January 5-7.
- With a trip to Upstate New York a week later, the Blue & Gray battles St. Lawrence, Brown and William Smith the weekend of January 12-14.
- Returning home for a home match against Bowdoin on January 19, Georgetown then has a quick turnaround to travel to Franklin & Marshall on January 21.
- Hosting Dickinson on January 27, the Hoyas then turn around to face Drexel in Philadelphia a day later on January 28.
- Closing out the regular season, the Blue & Gray travels to Pittsburgh to face Chatham on February 2 before wrapping things up at home against Colby on February 4.
- Postseason action begins the weekend of February 9-11 at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships in Philadelphia.
Georgetown returns seven players from 2022-23 and welcomes eight newcomers including seven freshmen and a graduate transfer for 2023-24.
