- For his efforts in GU's first shutout of the season, senior captain Kenny Nielsen was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week.
- This marks the first weekly award of Nielsen's career despite being a two-time all-conference honoree and the 2023 BIG EAST Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
- It is also the second weekly award for the Hoyas this season.
- Prior to Seton Hall, the Hoyas had an extended 10-day break after the previous Friday's contest at Maryland was postponed due to inclement weather in the area. The Hoyas and Terps were set to take the pitch before lightning in the area called the match to a halt.
- Georgetown is led by senior Kyle Linhares and Murrell with eight points apiece. Linhares has three goals and two assists on the season, while Murrell has tallied a squad-best four goals.
- In goal, Ryan Schewe has played a majority of the minutes with six saves and a 1.50 goals-against average for the year. His first shutout came in the Seton Hall win on Friday.
