WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team went 1-1 over the weekend with a 9-0 win at No. 20 St. Lawrence and a 5-4 setback in a down-to-the-wire match at No. 17 William Smith. The No. 15 Hoyas even their record to 5-5 on the year with the split.
Against the Saints, all nine Hoyas swept their matches with

Aaru Kuthari,
Ella Schoonmaker,
Lindsay Lee,
Mary Kacergis,
Katie Hennessy,
Sydney Bramen,
Caroline Wilcox and
Aalia Husain each earning 3-0 victories. No Georgetown player gave up more than seven points in any game against St. Lawrence.
Schoonmaker, Lee, Kacergis and Wilcox all picked up wins against the Herons as well. Additionally,
Valentina Cuccolo swept her opponent 3-0 in the exhibition spot for her collegiate debut.

The Hoyas return to the District to host Bowdoin on January 19 before taking on Franklin & Marshall in Annapolis, Maryland on January 21.
