WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team will travel to Queens, New York to face the St. John's University Red Storm in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Sunday. The opening tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.

• Georgetown now sits at 14-5 on the season and 4-4 in conference play.
• The Hoyas are entering this contest after a close 77-72 loss to the No. 21/20 Creighton Bluejays at home on Wednesday night.
• Junior Brianna Scott led the way for the Hoyas in the game with 17 points and a team-high seven rebounds as well as four assists.
• Senior Kelsey Ransom managed 14 points and six assists, while classmate Jada Claude tallied a season-best 14 points as well as four rebounds.

• The senior continues to lead the Hoyas in almost all categories and remains in top spots in the BIG EAST, as she is ranked 11th in scoring (14.9 ppg), fourth in assists (4.1 apg), and fourth in steals (2.4 per game).
• Sophomore Victoria Rivera had a consecutive career-high showing in both games last week, posting 16 points in both games, and again scoring in double figures with 11 points against Creighton.
• Graduate student Graceann Bennett leads the Hoyas on the boards, averaging 7.4 rpg to go along with her 10.4 ppg.
• The Blue & Gray showed a dominant offensive effort on Wednesday, notably coming back from a 43-32 deficit at the half to have the game tied 55-55 at the end of the third. The lead went back and forth throughout the fourth quarter, ultimately ending in a Bluejay victory.
• The Blue & Gray shot 46.2% (30-65) from the field, and Georgetown allowed 53.6% (30-56) shooting by the Bluejays.
• GU outrebounded CU 35-26, and Georgetown forced eight Bluejay turnovers on four steals.
• On the other side of the court, the Georgetown defense leads the BIG EAST and sits at 13th nationally, averaging 54.1 ppg.
