Hoyas Battle St. John’s on Sunday

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team will travel to Queens, New York to face the St. John's University Red Storm in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Sunday. The opening tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.

  • Georgetown now sits at 14-5 on the season and 4-4 in conference play.
  • The Hoyas are entering this contest after a close 77-72 loss to the No. 21/20 Creighton Bluejays at home on Wednesday night.
  • Junior Brianna Scott led the way for the Hoyas in the game with 17 points and a team-high seven rebounds as well as four assists.
