Hoyas Set to Host the 40th Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team is set to host the 40th Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, New Jersey. The two-day tournament, scheduled for October 14-15, will follow a three-round format featuring teams from 12 schools. Live scoring will be available on GUHoyas.com through Scoreboard by Clippd.

Hoya Lineup

  • Georgetown will travel with five student-athletes for this week's competition.
  • In their last outing, the Hoyas placed 10th out of 12 teams at the Hamptons Intercollegiate, posting a 54-hole score of 915.
  • Alan Rose will compete in the top spot for the Hoyas. At the Hamptons Intercollegiate, he led the team by tying for 34th, with rounds of 72, 78, and 75, finishing at 9-over par.
  • Barnes Blake is set to play in the two spot, currently holding a 73-stroke average for the season.
  • CJ Winchenbaugh will take the three spot. The freshman is also averaging 73 strokes per round. At the Hamptons Intercollegiate, Winchenbaugh finished 44th with rounds of 78, 75, and 76, ending the tournament at 13-over par.
  • Team captain Max Hutter will compete in the four spot. Hutter has maintained a 74-stroke average across three events this season.
  • Carsten Judge will make his season debut in the five spot.

About the Tournament

  • The event will feature 11 other institutions with Campbell University, College of William & Mary, Columbia University, George Mason University, Loyola University Maryland, Princeton University, Saint Joseph's University, Towson University, University of Delaware, University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University. 
  • Taams will tee off Monday morning in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and will play two full rounds followed by another final round Tuesday which will begin at 8:00 a.m. from holes #1 and #10.


Up Next

The Blue & Gray will travel to the ODU/Kilmarlic Intercollegiate from Monday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 22 at Kilmarlic Country Club  in Okatie, North Carolina for the final event of the fall 2024 season. The event is scheduled to be a three-day event.
