Georgetown Women’s Swimming & Diving Falls to UConn in Home Opener

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's women's swimming & diving team fell 186-109 to UConn at home in its first BIG EAST matchup of the season.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Ines Lovato, Allie Sanche, Madeline Malone and Taplin Seelbach placed first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:36.20.
In the 200 medley relay, Maddie Haley, Sara Lin, Genevive Youngman and Natalie Aiken finished in second place with a time of 1:44.95.
Sammy Hagberg and Cali Oyerly finished in second and third place with times of 1:56.24 and 1:56.55, respectively.
Allie Sanchez took second in the 100 back with a time of 57.64.
With a time of 1:07.22, Emily Gao placed third in the 100 breaststroke.
In the 200 butterfly, Angelica Reali placed second (2:06.14) while Bella Dimaculangan finished in third (2:07.46).
In the 1m dive, Wynter Bramao placed second with a score of 242.25.
Alex Breuer finished in second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:23.69.
The Hoyas swept the podium in the 200 IM. Dimaculangan took first (2:08.76), Jasmine Fok took second (2:09.44) and Gao finished in third (2:13.38)
