WASHINGTON – Following the final 18 holes of action, Georgetown University's
Georgia Ruffolo finished at 4-under 212 (72-69-71) to take runner-up honors at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational. Ruffolo and teammate
Megan Gormley combined for a pair of top-five performances as the Hoyas took third place at the two-day tournament hosted by the University of Delaware. The Blue & Gray carded a three-round score of 21-over 885 (297-293-295) on the par-72, 6,169-yard course at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware behind the host Blue Hens in first (17-over 881) and Quinnipiac (18-over 882).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ruffolo finished second at 4-under 212 (72-69-71) as she tallied three birdies, one eagle and 11 pars on the day. Her two-day total included one eagle, 12 birdies and 33 pars.
- At 2-under 214 (72-72-70), Gormley was the second Hoya on the leaderboard and fourth overall as she recorded the best round of the day for the Blue & Gray. She managed four birdies to go along with 13 pars on the day, totaling 12 birdies and 35 pars for the tournament.
- Charlotte Hillary tied for 33rd at 15-over 231 (76-75-80). In her final round, she recorded one birdie and eight pars for a two-day total of six birdies and 29 pars.
- Competing as an individual, Tina Tang tied for 40th at 17-over 233 (76-81-76). The final round saw the sophomore manage one birdie and 12 pars. For the tournament, Tang recorded six birdies and 32 pars.
- Catherine Qiu tied for 43rd at 18-over 234 (77-77-80) following 54 holes of action. On the final day, she recorded a pair of birdies and seven pars for a total of five birdies and 28 pars for the tournament.
- Gabriella Eifrig finished the two-day tournament at 24-over 240 (86-80-74), recording her best round on the final day. The freshman tallied three-straight birdies on 12, 13 and 14, to go along with 10 pars. She totaled six birdies and 28 pars over two days.
- Olivia Ty finished 64th at 31-over 247 (83-80-84). She added one birdie and eight pars on the day. The eight pars increased her two-day total to 29.
